After completing a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, currently I am working on my doctoral thesis under the supervision of José Manuel Fernández Vilaboa (University of Santiago de Compostela) and Ramón González Rodríguez (University of Vigo).
My research interests are fundamentally related with the study of braided monoidal categories. More concretely, I am focus on the study of Hopf algebras and generalizations into this kind of categories, as well as their associated module categories. In order to be even more concrete, my thesis is dedicated to the study of Hopf braces, which are pairs of Hopf algebras with the same underlying coalgebra satisfying certain compatibility condition between the two different products. Briefly, our research consists on generalising classical results in Hopf algebra theory to these new structures.
