Ashita Gulati

Co-President

Hi! I'm Ashita, a 3rd year student studying Molecular & Cell Biology and Data Science. Being interested in neuroscience, as well as medical specialties such as neurology/psychiatry, I felt that joining BrainTrust would be an excellent opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and create pathways for others to explore these fields. This year, I’m excited to help lead and coordinate enriching speaker panels/conferences, with a shared goal to shed more light on TBIs and the broader context surrounding them. As for my hobbies, I love running, playing basketball, cooking, and listening to music (Rap/R&B/City-pop). Looking forward to another great year w/BT@B!

Arjun Jadhav

My name is Arjun Jadhav. I am a fourth year double majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology with an emphasis on Neurobiology, and Public Health. I joined BrainTrust because I resonated with the Buddy Program and its mission to provide social support for patients, an aspect of medicine that I think is one of the most important in recovery and healing. In my free time, I’m usually hanging out with my friends, reading, or watching shows.

Zara Najmi

Hi everyone! My name is Zara Najmi, and I am a second year majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track. I joined BrainTrust because I wanted to contribute to a community focused on supporting brain injury patients through innovative approaches. I was also drawn to the strong, inspiring community this club fosters. I’m particularly interested in neurodegenerative diseases and hope to become a neurosurgeon in the future. Outside of school, I enjoy playing volleyball, shopping, cafe hopping, and thrifting.

Soumyadeep Talukdar

Hi! I’m Soumyadeep and I’m a third year studying Neuroscience and Data Science. I joined BrainTrust at Berkeley to play a part in supporting brain injury patients and forming a tight-knit community. One of my interests lie in using biological and computational tools to study neurogenetics and genetic engineering. In my free time, I enjoy going on late night adventures with friends, watching TV, and playing on my switch!

Hi! My name is Melissa, a second year, planning on double majoring in Cognitive Science and Integrative Biology. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and exploring new places outdoors! I'm really looking forward to supporting fellow students and building community through PSG at BrainTrust.

Hi hi! My name is Alexandra Nuño, a 4th year at the wonderful UCB studying MCB with a Neurobiology emphasis + a super fun minor in Health and Wellness. I am the Braintrust Buddy Program Director and look forward to forming real connections between buddies and students! You can find me laying on a patch of grass on campus, trying out new recipes, studying at Doe, or at Zumba at the RSF ;)
