Welcome to Brainoria: Trivia Questions ("Brainoria", "we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information associated with your use of our mobile application.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you install and play Brainoria.
A. Personal Information
Brainoria does not require you to create an account, register, or provide personal identifiable information (such as your name, physical address, phone number, or email address) to play the game.
B. Device and Gameplay Data (Stored Locally)
To provide core gameplay features, we store minimal game data directly on your device using local storage:
High scores and leaderboard rankings
Game progress, current streak, and remaining hearts/lives
Sound and vibration preferences
This information is stored strictly on your device and is not uploaded to our personal servers.
C. Automatically Collected Data via Third Parties
Brainoria integrates third-party services for advertising and trivia content. These third-party partners may collect certain technical data automatically when you interact with the app.
Our app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect and process:
IP address
Unique device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AAID)
Diagnostic, crash, and performance logs
Ad interaction and view data
Google may use this data to serve contextual or personalized advertisements in accordance with their privacy policies:
Open Trivia API
The app fetches trivia questions and categories through public trivia APIs. These requests are standard HTTP queries to retrieve quiz questions and do not transmit your personal data.
Brainoria requests minimal system permissions necessary for gameplay functionality:
Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET): Used to load trivia questions and serve advertisements.
Network State (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to check internet connectivity for fetching questions and ad availability.
Vibration (android.permission.VIBRATE): Used strictly for haptic feedback during quiz gameplay (e.g., correct/incorrect answer responses).
Brainoria is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through our third-party advertising partners, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
Because we do not operate user accounts or cloud databases containing your personal data:
Your local game data (scores, lives, settings) remains on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the application.
Third-party partners (such as Google AdMob) retain analytics and ad-related data in accordance with their respective retention policies.
Reset Advertising ID: You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time through your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID).
Clear Game Data: You can delete all locally stored game scores and preferences at any time by clearing the app's cache and storage in your Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
