[June 2026] We released MBRILA, a PyTorch toolkit for multi-region neural communication. It helps researchers try and compare GP- and SSM-based latent models across brain regions, with GP modeling communication delays and GPU-scalable SSMs. Great work done by Weihan!

[May 2026] The PI is honored to receive the NSF CAREER Award in Robust Intelligence for research on integrating AI, machine learning, and neuroscience to uncover the computational principles underlying naturalistic animal behavior and brain function.

[May 2026] We received funding support from Gigabyte to study behavior foundation models for robotics, in collaboration with Prof. Ye Zhao.

[April 2026] Three papers from our group have been accepted to ICML 2026. Chengrui led a paper selected for a Spotlight presentation (2.2%), and Feiyang led a paper selected for an Oral presentation (0.7%). Another paper was led by Hanqi Zhao and Chengrui Li in collaboration with Jacob L. Yates’s lab at University of California, Berkeley. See you in Seoul this July.

[Mar 2026] The lab received the first leading PI R01! We will work on multi-animal social behavior study with advanced representation learning and reinforcement learning!
