Learn Image, Pre-Processing and Data Analysis

Goal:  This course will provide a technical training and workshop on extracting and processing structural information from MRI datasets (sMRI). We will go not only the step-by-step processes involved in voxel-based morphometry (VBM) and surface-based morphometry (SBM) but also their physical and clinical significance. Topics include: MRI Physics, sMRI Preprocessing, VBM and SBM.

Topics: MRI Physics, sMRI Preprocessing, VBM and SBM. Hands-on sessions will be in MATLAB (SPM25 and CAT12). Sample datasets may include factors such as ethnicity, age and disease.

Requirements: Participants are expected to bring their own laptop. It is recommended that a flash drive (or external SSD) with at least 250GB capacity be also brought with it for data storage. Pre-installment procedure (e.g. installation procedure) will be given as soon as possible to be ready by workshop day.
