2025 Conference Details
Theme: Promoting Brain Health through Research and Development
On its 12th year, BrainConnects returns to the Philippines with a broader aim to promote multifaceted research using neurotechnology for the understanding of the brain, protecting and enhancing brain function across the lifespan. As a Special Interest Group for Neuroinformatics of Aging, it has fostered the exchange of knowledge towards the understanding of aging-related brain changes and mechanisms of disease through neuroimaging technologies by successfully connecting premier Pacific - Asian institutions in high-resource countries on this special field. The theme of BrainConnects 2025, “Promoting Brain Health through Research and Development” intends to raise awareness on the fundamental role of neurotechnology and neuroinformatics in brain research, encourage the exchange of ideas, spur collaboration, and hopefully champion innovation in brain interventions. This year's program will showcase presentations from eight participating countries with topics on basic and advanced neuroimaging methods, biotechnology and discussions on brain health, diagnostics, and intervention.
We welcome participants who can take action in brain research and bringing local and national initiatives. We especially welcome the bold ideas and energy of early career researchers. We aspire towards a culture of design-thinking and hacking.
