Lupin · 패키지: com.braillelens.braille_lens
Cold.Lupin
Google Gemini
Firebase Crashlytics:

1. Local functions
Braille learning and conversion of directly entered braille/text are performed on your device. App and photo-analysis settings are stored locally. There is no registration, account login or paid subscription. The app does not request your address book, precise location, health information or payment information.
The app teaches Korean braille. Korean and English are languages for screen explanations; changing the UI does not convert Korean braille into English braille. Romanization helps with reading Korean. Photo-reading output is reference information to check against the original; this policy does not claim photo-recognition accuracy has been verified.
2. Optional photos and Gemini
When you request recognition, select a braille area from a camera image or chosen photo. Locally detected dots, cell patterns, line order and the selected image area are sent to the shared Firebase server, which forwards the photo and patterns to Google Gemini API to interpret braille. The server returns the marked image, reading and explanation. The app asks for initial transfer consent. Without consent, cloud photo interpretation is unavailable, but learning and text conversion remain available.
The developer’s recognition server does not retain photos/readings in a database or storage. It uses the request/result in memory while processing and does not include photos, input text or reading results in Analytics, Crashlytics or advertising events. Google handling follows Gemini API terms and Google privacy policy. Paid API services do not use inputs/responses for product improvement, although limited safety/security retention can apply. Free-service data-use terms differ. Select only the needed braille area and exclude personal information.
3. Analytics and diagnosis
Firebase Analytics processes launches, screen use, app-instance identifiers and app/device/operating-system information to improve usability. Advertising-ID collection and ad-personalization signals are disabled. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash stacks, error types, app/device information and installation identifiers for stability; private text/photos are not put in error messages. Both operate in release builds and can be disabled separately under Privacy settings. Disabling analytics resets the device's analytics identifier; disabling crash diagnosis deletes unsent reports.
4. Advertising
Google AdMob provides a home banner and an ordinary interstitial during Gemini interpretation. The ads SDK can collect/share IP addresses (including approximate-location inference), app/ad interactions, diagnostics, advertising ID/App Set ID and other device identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Photo and braille content are not sent for ads. Where required, UMP presents advertising consent. Choices can be revisited from the home advertising-privacy settings, and Android offers advertising-ID controls.
5. Authentication, security and retention
Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity verify the app and prevent request abuse. Integrity attestations, authentication tokens and technical information such as IP can be processed by Google. Photo interpretation, analytics, diagnosis and ads use HTTPS/TLS. The server records app-specific request counts/status to limit use, excluding photos/braille text.
Clear app data or uninstall to remove local settings. The server does not keep photos/results long-term. Usage counters have a seven-day expiry timestamp; actual deletion follows storage expiry processing. Crashlytics starts deletion of crash data and related identifiers after 90 days under Google's retention guidance. Tokens used in App Check replay protection can be retained up to 30 days. Analytics, advertising and service operations follow service-specific retention settings and policies. Send access/deletion/processing-stop requests to support. Additional information can be needed to identify a request; local app deletion does not automatically delete provider-held data.
6. Providers, international processing and users
Google LLC and related providers process photos (Firebase/Gemini), authentication/security (App Check/Play Integrity), analysis/diagnosis (Firebase) and advertising (AdMob). The recognition server operates in Google Cloud's Seoul region; Google processing/storage can also occur in the United States or other countries with Google facilities, when functions are requested or SDKs run. Avoid photo interpretation, disable analytics/crash diagnosis, or change applicable advertising choices to limit the corresponding processing.
This version, including Gemini photo interpretation, targets adult learners aged 18 or older. Changes to features or data handling will update this page/date. Google Sites delivers the policy page and may process technical information such as IP for delivery/security.
