These 3 ancient pilgrimage are located on west coast of Indian state of Karnataka. The Yatra is so called because


1. Shree Mahaganapati is pratham pujya (first to be worshipped). He is vighnaharta (remover of all obstacles). Hindu tradition states that Shree Ganesha is a god of wisdom, success and good luck .

2. Shree Krisnha (incarnation / avatar of Shree Mahavishnu ) soil eating story -

Mother Yashoda saw the Universe when Shree Krishna opened his mouth.

3. During Mahabharata war in battlefield of Kurukshetra -

Shree Krishna enlightens Arjun with Vishwaroop Darshan. Krishna shows his divinity as God Vishnu and also Vishwaroop to Arjun Vishvaroop is considered the supreme form of God Vishnu, where the whole Universe is described as contained in him.
