I began using a camera I borrowed from my friend's dad. It was a half-frame Yashica camera and I used slide film. My friend and I were going on a European tour and needed cameras to memorialize the trip. When I got back and had the slides processed I was hooked. Of course, I had to return the camera, which left me looking for another, better one. As it turns out, my father was traveling to Japan on business and I asked him to pick up the best camera he could find. He came home with a Nikon (no surprise there). It was the best purchase I ever made. I still have it as of today, along with a digital Nikon and Fuji camera, and now a Smart Phone Camera.
For the photography pages I am including only some of what I have; after all I have decades of photos. So sometime back I went through them all and came up with the ones I like best. You know, it is so hard to choose the best because it is a very daunting task - it took frigging days to decide.
I have designed each page to display about 50 photos each - that's two pages in total. Under each photo I have included a caption of where each photo was taken. Note that these photos are in no particular order - simply random giving no one more visibility than another.
