This document explains how to setup the Quest 3s (Likely works on Quest 3 too but I only tested using the Quest 3s) and your PC to play PC VR (PCVR) games running on your PC through your Quest 3s headset. This means your headset acts similar to a monitor connected to your PC and displays the VR game running from your PC.
Specifically I only cover how to setup PCVR without a dedicated GPU using only integrated graphics (iGPU) on a laptop.
The following are the methods I found for using PCVR on the Quest 3s.
Note that none of the methods that I tried are what I would consider easy to setup.
FYI, the soon to be released Steam Frame headset has a wireless dongle that plugs into your PC and most likely will be easy to setup to play PCVR games; however, it is likely to cost more then the Quest 3 headset.
Meta Horizon Link: Free software from Meta.
SteamVR/Steam Link: Free software only works with steam PC games.
ALVR: Free open source software.
Virtual Desktop: I'm not covering Virtual Desktop because it's not free but I have heard good reviews for the software.
Monado: Monado is the Cross-Platform Open-Source OpenXR™ runtime for Linux, Windows and Android.
AMD Radeon ReLive for VR: Only available on some Radeon GPUs and I'm not covering this here.
The Meta Horizon Link software supports both cable and wi-fi connection to your headset.
No integrated graphics are officially support and the software appears to block at least some types of integrated graphics.
Online I have seen reports that AMD 780M integrated graphics can run some graphically less intensive VR games adequately using the Quest 3.
I tested the Quest 3s and my laptop with an Intel Core i7-1255U CPU which has an Intel Iris Xe Graphics (96EU) integrated GPU and it blocked it with an error message.
The software below is required.

Quest: The Quest Link software is built-in so no extra download is required. To access the Quest Link software open quick settings by clicking on the clock at the bottom of the main menu bar and click on Link.
The SteamVR software only supports a wi-fi connection to your headset; however, you can use other software such as Meta Horizon Link to use a cable and play Steam VR games.
The software below is required.
PC Download: First install the Steam software. Second install the free SteamVR software from the Steam store.
Quest Download: Install the free Steam Link software from the Quest store.
The ALVR software supports both cable and wi-fi connection to your headset.
I tested the Quest 3s and my laptop with an Intel Core i7-1255U CPU which has an Intel Iris Xe Graphics (96EU) integrated GPU and it seems that at least one graphically less intensive VR game barely worked but it was hard to play.
The software below is required.
PC Download: ALVR
Quest Download: Install the free ALVR software from the Quest store.
