September 2026 Update: 

Excited to share that the Bracci Lab is entering its first full year!

I’m incredibly grateful to the students who helped establish our foundation over the past six months. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication have made this milestone possible.

As we move into this next phase, we’re focused on growing our research capacity, sharpening our technical skills, building confidence at the bench, and, of course, doing some really cool science.

Looking forward to a year full of curiosity, collaboration, and discovery.

August 2026 Update:

Dr. Bracci and undergraduate student Abigail Wheelock supported the Pre-Med Preparation: Medical Microbiology camp, providing hands-on microbiology instruction and exposing high school students to laboratory techniques and careers in biomedical sciences.

May 2026 Update:

Caitlyn Ollmann presented her independent study work at the Annual CT Valley ASM Branch meeting and Quinnipiac's Sigma Xi Symposium! Keep up the great work Caitlyn!
