BR21 Stands for Business Referral Group #21.  The breakfast meeting idea originates from a group of businessperson in Vancouver, BC. 

The Vancouver Group has expanded rapidly into many local sub-groups.  BR21 is the first sub-group of Toronto setup in June 2002.  Currently we have more than 10 active members attending the monthly breakfast meetings. 

Our primary objective is business referral and exchange of knowledge.

At each monthly breakfast gathering, each member has one minute to introduce and promote his/her business.  The members are rotated to provide the monthly presentation in a causal manner and we also invite guest speakers.

Through our monthly breakfast gatherings, we have cultivated better business relationships, broaden our network and increase our business knowledge. 

We have introduced a special ruling that each member of the BR group can only represent one unique business sector.  This unique representation prevents duplication and conflict, creates an in-depth understanding of each member’s business and enhances business referral. 

Enthusiastic members who contribute both their time and resources share the workload. The workload includes scheduling of speakers, invitation of guest speakers, annual dinner, organization of sports and networking events. 

• Annual membership fee for 2024 calendar year is $60.00.

• Each member pays $20 to cover the cost of the breakfast.  Some special venues may charge different rates depending on the event.

• Member must specify clearly the scope of his/her business.  No member can promote a business that is already registered by another member of the BR group. 

• Attendance requirement - Please attend a minimum of 30% of activities per year

• Members will be given discounts for event  

• Members will be invited to promote their businesses at networking events.

• Members' information will be posted on the BR21 Toronto website directory. 

• Marketing & Promotional opportunities (5 postings/per year) will be displayed on the BR21 Toronto website. 

• Build relationships and gain new clients by attending our monthly breakfast meetings, women’s luncheon, and special networking events!
