Welcome to the support page of the BPV Audio Recorder app!
It works with the built-in microphones and USB audio interfaces.
It was specifically designed for binaural stereo recording (using in-ear or dummy head microphones connected via a USB audio interface). For this purpose, it offers a powerful equalizer that can be applied to recording or playback.
The equalizer settings can be managed in a library and also used during playback.
The player can also be used independently with this EQ to filter playback (according to your preferences or needs, or to equalize the sound for connected headphones).
If the connected hardware supports it, recording at up to 96 kHz (float32) is possible.
Optionally, a compressed audio file (for quick sharing) can be recorded directly along with the audio.
The app is well tested on an iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18.7.1 with these interfaces: Rode AI-Micro, Axagon ADA-17 USB-HQ MINI
It is planned to support the HQ-audio-recording-feature from th Apple AirPods when it will be available in the EU.
A quick manual is accesible at the settings page.
I hope you enjoy this audio recording tool!
