Human Resource Development Centre at B.P.S. Mahila Vishwavidyalaya was established in August 2009. Enhancing learning, dialogue and reflexivity in the pedagogical domain for academicians diversely located, HRDC tries to promote critical thinking amongst its participants and an insight into pedagogical innovation for improving their teaching methodology. This is connected to a larger vision of orienting the educators for improving the quality of higher education. HRDC at BPSMV also stresses upon the essentially of Inter-disciplinary approach in all its courses so as to cater to the needs of academics in the contemporary times and to perpetuate an understanding of a holistic approach to Higher Education.

The emphasis of courses at HRDC is the overall professional development and intellectual growth of the teachers and keeping this in mind the syllabus is made inter-disciplinary in nature in today’s era. Thus teacher attending courses here learn about the most effective way of methodology which they can apply to their classes and would benefit the students. Personality development sessions not only helps teacher in improving upon their own personalities but also helps them in understanding their students in a much better way (as they are dealing with teenagers and Youth). This further encourages teacher to improve upon their class room teaching method by making them interactive sessions. These courses encourage teacher to integrate ICT while teaching which captures the mind of young students.

HRDC at BPSMV is known for having a vibrant curriculum (in accordance with UGC guidelines) in all its courses whether being an Orientation Programme (3 Weeks) or a Refresher Course (2 Weeks). Keeping in mind the contemporary trends and the needs of academics in today’s era, HRDC at BPSMV tries to inculcate an understanding of a holistic approach to higher Education. In addition to this, special emphasis is laid upon designing an inter-disciplinary curriculum so as to enhance research interest amongst the teachers along with the quest to learn from all the disciplines so that they further encourage their students to do so.

HRDC at BPSMV provides ultra-modern facilities to all its participants and resource persons. It has well equipped classrooms, computer lab, Internet Lab, library, Language Lab, and Guest house. Situated in a rural area, HRDC has a beautiful ambience amidst of greenery around the University.
