New students entering Bloomfield Public Schools in grades PreK-12
Students accepted to Global Experience Magnet School or Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School (Students attending these schools that do not reside in Bloomfield still need to register)
Students currently attending and/or accepted to a Magnet, Technical or Private School school who are Bloomfield Residents
Laurel Elementary School: Preschool - 2nd Grade
Metacomet Elementary School: 3rd and 4th Grade
Carmen Arace Intermediate School: 5th and 6th Grade
Carmen Arace Middle School: 7th and 8th Grade
Bloomfield High School: 9th - 12th Grade
Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School: Preschool, students must be accepted through RSCO lottery process prior to enrolling with Bloomfield
Yes, because you will need to provide information that is specific for each child.
While a residency verification appointment is not required, it is recommended. An appointment will ensure a shorter wait time and allow the process to be completed quicker. Please call your school specific Registration Contact to schedule an appointment.

Yes, your student(s) still need to register to re-enroll in Bloomfield Public Schools. The process will be handled on a case by case basis.

The registration process will be the same even if the parent/guardian of the student is not the Bloomfield homeowner or tenant. An additional form, Certificate of Residency Form, will need to be completed prior to or during the residency verification appointment. The Bloomfield homeowner or tenant will also need to be present at the residency verification appointment.
