ABOUT SCHOOL COUNCIL
The Barrhaven School Council meets every month throughout the school year. Communication for meeting times is sent from the school administration team; this includes links for virtual meetings where applicable. You can also see the events posted on our Facebook page.
Elections for the executive volunteer positions are held at the beginning of each school year, however you can join us anytime!
What to expect:
Hear the latest updates from our principal and the teacher representatives
Find out what's going on at the Ottawa Carleton District School Board
Be a part of discussions with the principal, vice-principal, teacher representative, and your fellow parents and community members
Give your input into how School Council funds are directed
Join the School Council or act as a volunteer if you'd like to be more involved
Even if you want to drop in and listen, we encourage you to join in! We value parents' input and look forward to getting to know you! Your participation can make a difference!
