The Biophysical Society Student Chapter at ETSU is a registered student organization at East Tennessee State University. Our chapter is all about building an energetic and inclusive community of students passionate about science and discovery through the lens of biophysics. We bring learning to life through interactive seminars, collaborative journal clubs, and lab research exchange programs, with potential for future hands-on training experiences. To spark inspiration, we will also invite guest experts to share their unique perspectives and experiences in cutting-edge biophysics research. Drawing on my background in Protein Biophysics, we will kick off with a series of foundational events that explore this fascinating and rapidly evolving field. While this will be our initial focus, the chapter is committed to expanding its scope to include the full, interdisciplinary breadth of biophysics as our community grows.
