If you want to try your optimisation skills in a competition against others, you can participate in the Business Process Optimization Competition.
In the competition, you will develop a planning engine that assigns tasks that must be performed to the best people to perform them. Obviously, there are various complications in doing so. The group that develops the planning engine that achieves the lowest cycle time on customer cases - which consist of multiple tasks - wins the competition.
The best three groups receive a certificate with their rank. All groups receive a certificate of participation.
The deadline for submission is 31 July 2023.
More information can be found in this document. The code that you need for the competition is available here.
