On 4/19 BPIA board and advisory members hosted the visiting delegation from South Sudan to include the Honorable Minister of Finance Awuou Daniel Chuang, the Honorable Minister of Education Awul Deng Acuil, the governor of the central bank, Dr. James Alic Garang, and members of parliament to discuss opportunities to expand US-South Sudan relations in business, education, and diplomacy. The welcome reception included over 40 representatives from the State Department, USAID, congress, HBCUs, and Fortune 500 companies.
