The Computer Science and Technology department is one of the best engineering departments of Bipradas Pal Chowdhury Institute of Technology, Krishnanagar. The department offers three years  of Diploma in Computer Science and Technology. The program focuses on both theoretical aspects of Computer Science and software as well as application development. While steps are taken to clear the fundamental concepts of Computer Science, in advanced years of studies, the students are facilitated with largest technologies like Cloud Computing, Machine Learning etc. The department has provided well-equipped computer labs with latest computer software's. The department uses regular tests, assignments and knowladge sharing to make sure that program objectives are consistently accomplished and learning outcomes are tracked.

The Computer Science and Technology department of BPCIT has been setting exemplary standards since its inception and is well on course to continue the tradition for years to come. Being the head of this department and taking an active role in its initiatives is an honors.  The department strongly believe in its student's ability to leave a global footprint, assisted by high qualified lecturers. The student are strengthen their fundamental skills and embrace new technologies. All student receive mentoring to encourage them to adhere to a philosophy that does not place restrictions on their capacity to study. The department focuses a strong emphasis on teaching  students how to use their theoretical knowledge in practice by carefully implementing appropriate lab activities.  At BPCIT, the teachers are serving with sincere dedication to prepare our students for a significant challenges ahead and to nurture them to build a strong foudation for the next level so that they can become more succesful and useful to society.
