If you want a dedicated, hands-free office headset with all-day battery life and crystal-clear call quality, choose Boytond Ear Buds; if you need rugged, waterproof bone conduction earbuds for swimming or intense outdoor activity, choose Hostena Full-Coverage Liquid Silicone.
• Boytond Ear Buds: Strength is its massive 100-hour total playtime and CVC8.0 noise cancellation designed specifically for phone calls; trade-off is that it lacks true underwater waterproofing. This pick is for the professional who needs to stay connected during long workdays.
• Hostena Full-Coverage Liquid Silicone: Strength is its IP68 rating and bone conduction design that keeps ears open while fully submerged; trade-off is the shorter 8-hour battery life per charge and lack of active noise cancellation. This pick is for the swimmer or athlete who prioritizes safety and durability over call clarity.
The Boytond Ear Buds are engineered primarily for the mobile professional who spends hours on conference calls and needs a reliable companion in a busy environment. The standout feature here is the Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity paired with CVC8.0 noise reduction technology. This isn't just marketing fluff; the specs indicate a system designed to filter out disruptive background noises like traffic, wind, or crowds, ensuring your voice comes through clearly on the other end. For someone working from a coffee shop or a bustling home office, this capability transforms the device from a simple music player into a serious communication tool.
Comfort is another pillar of this design, which matters immensely when you are wearing headphones for an entire shift. The earpiece features a rotatable hook that allows you to switch between left and right ear modes easily, accommodating a wide range of ear shapes without causing pressure points. The material is described as soft enough that even after extended wear, your ears won't feel burdened. This ergonomic flexibility is crucial for anyone who toggles between listening to podcasts, taking client calls, and attending virtual meetings throughout the day.
The battery performance is where this device truly separates itself from standard wireless earbuds. With a single charge providing 10 to 12 hours of talk or music time, and a charging case that adds another 10 charges, you are looking at a staggering 100 hours of total usage. You can go weeks without plugging in the case, and if the buds themselves run low, they support direct USB-C charging on the body, eliminating the need to dig out the case in a pinch. This makes it an ideal choice for a usb c charging wireless headset for office use, where forgetting to charge overnight is a common occurrence that shouldn't ruin your productivity.

However, this device is not for everyone. If your primary use case involves swimming, running in heavy rain, or high-intensity sports where water resistance is non-negotiable, you should skip this option. While it offers some level of protection, it does not carry the IP68 rating required for submersion. Furthermore, if you prefer to keep your ears completely sealed off from ambient noise to focus deeply, the open-ear design might let too much environmental sound in. But for the office worker who needs to hear their surroundings while maintaining privacy on calls via the dedicated mute button, the Boytond fits the bill perfectly.
The Hostena Full-Coverage Liquid Silicone model is a specialized piece of gear built for one dominant purpose: water-based activities and safety-conscious exercise. Its defining characteristic is the IP68 waterproof rating, which means you can dive up to two meters underwater without worrying about damage. This isn't just splash-proof; it is designed for full submersion. Whether you are laps in a pool or training in open water, the liquid silicone material provides a soft, skin-friendly fit that works seamlessly with swimming goggles and caps, a detail often overlooked by generic earbuds.
Safety is the second major selling point, driven by the bone conduction technology. Unlike traditional in-ear buds that seal the ear canal, these sit outside the ear, allowing you to listen to music while remaining acutely aware of your surroundings. In a pool, this means hearing a lifeguard shout or other swimmers approaching. On land, it allows you to hear traffic while jogging. This "open-ear" design is critical for anyone who values situational awareness over isolated immersion. It eliminates the risk of ear fatigue associated with deep insertion and ensures your ears stay dry and ventilated during intense workouts.
Storage and connectivity options make this device incredibly versatile for independent use. It features Bluetooth 6.0 and includes a built-in 32GB memory card capable of holding up to 8,000 songs in various formats like MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, and FLAC. This dual-mode capability is a game-changer for swimmers because Bluetooth signals do not transmit well underwater; switching to MP3 mode allows you to play your playlist directly from the device without needing your phone tethered to you. You can leave the phone in the locker and still enjoy your workout. The magnetic charging cable adds to the convenience, making file transfers and power-ups straightforward.
That said, the Hostena has clear limitations for office environments. The battery life tops out at 8 hours of continuous usage, which is decent but falls short of the multi-day endurance offered by the Boytond. More importantly, it lacks active noise cancellation. If you are trying to block out a noisy HVAC system or chatty coworkers in a quiet office, this open-ear design will likely fail to provide the isolation you need. It is also heavier than many standard buds at 3.68 ounces, which might be noticeable if you are wearing it for eight straight hours at a desk. This product is strictly for the best comfortable gaming headphones for office users who never plan to get wet? No, absolutely not. This is for the athlete who needs a secure fit during high-impact movement and wants to avoid water damage entirely.

If I had to buy one pair of earbuds for my daily routine, I would choose the Boytond Ear Buds. My reasoning is simple: for most people, the office environment is the primary battlefield. The ability to go nearly two weeks without charging the case, combined with the specific engineering for clear voice transmission and noise filtering, solves the most common pain points of remote work and business calls. The Hostena is an incredible tool for the pool, but it feels like a niche instrument for the office. I recommend the Boytond for anyone looking for a usb c charging wireless headset for office that balances performance, battery life, and call quality without sacrificing comfort.
Yes, the Boytond Ear Buds feature CVC8.0 noise reduction technology specifically designed to block out background distractions like traffic and crowds, making them excellent for clear phone conversations. The Hostena model does not offer active noise cancellation.
Absolutely. The Hostena Full-Coverage Liquid Silicone earbuds have 32GB of built-in storage for up to 8,000 songs and include a magnetic charging cable for easy file transfer, so you don't need a phone nearby. Just remember to switch to MP3 mode for underwater use since Bluetooth doesn't work well there.
The Boytond Ear Buds offer significantly longer battery life with a single charge lasting 10-12 hours and a total of 100 hours with the charging case. The Hostena provides up to 8 hours of continuous usage per charge, which is sufficient for a workout but shorter for a full workday.
