2nd-4th Boys & Girls

The Cub program is new this year.  Girls and boys who reside within the boundaries of the Boyertown Area School District are welcomed to register for the program. Since this program is a developmental/recreational program, prior experience is not necessary.

We have many ideas for this program, however, since it is new this year we are waiting to see the interest before providing to many details.  We hope to be able to release more information in mid-September.  Until then we welcome your comments to our email address.

Cost: $125 + 

3rd-8th Boys & Girls

The Bobcats are travel teams that play in the Inter-County Basketball Association League.  Girls and boys who reside within the boundaries of the Boyertown Area School District are welcomed to try out for the program. Teams are selected after try-outs in early October. They have two-three practices a week plus games both home and away. If a child doesn't make a travel team they will be placed on a biddy team or JR High Rec team.  We are looking into forming girls 7-8th grade options.

Cost: $330 + $70 uniform 

Girls and boys who reside within the boundaries of the Boyertown Area School District are encouraged to participate in the program. Since this program is a developmental/recreational program, prior experience is not necessary.

The biddy teams are selected after Bobcat Travel Try-Outs. We have separate divisions for Boys and Girls.  There is an evaluation day to gauge talent and even out the teams. Biddy will have two-three practices a week Including home games. * This year we are looking at playing in non-league games.  While the hope is to host these games it might involve travel for 1 or 2 games.

Cost is $125 + $20 uniform which can be reused in our Rec programs. 

Boys in 7th - 9th grades who reside within the boundaries of the Boyertown Area School District are encouraged to participate in the program. There are evaluations mid-November, after Bobcat, Middle School and High School tryouts, however, players may participate on Jr High Rec, Bobcats Travel and Jr High 7th and 8th grade school team. (9th graders on the school team are not eligible for Rec.) The boys will play on Sundays. They will have non-league games and hoping to play at home but might involve travel for 1 or 2 games and possible it's a day other than Sunday.

Boyertown Basketball hopes to provide all athletes from 2nd-12th grade an opportunity to play during the year.    Our goal would be to have different divisions that all grades and genders and provide year round opportunities.   We have partnered with another league to offer year round basketball options for athletes, boys and girls, in grades 3rd-12th. Until our program strengthens in numbers, one option, we can enter teams or individuals in the Tri-County League. We want to encourage our children to stay active and learn the value of being apart of a team. The Tri-County League has a season with at least 8 games played in the Tri-County area. If we can field a team and a coach of Boyertown players we can offer practices during the week.

Cost: A fee is not collected at this time as we are just gauging interest.  Please register to we can keep you informed of Basketball in for our Town.
