This Privacy Policy describes how Boxing Combo Trainer ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

Information You Provide:

• Workout Data: Custom combo configurations, timer settings, and workout sessions you create within the App. This data is stored locally on your device. Pro subscribers also have this data mirrored to a secure cloud database linked to an anonymous account (see Cloud Sync below).

Information Collected Automatically:

• Anonymous Identifier: On first launch the App signs in anonymously via Firebase Authentication. This creates a random, non-personally-identifiable user ID used solely to link your RevenueCat subscription and (for Pro users) your cloud data. No name, email, or other personal information is associated with this identifier.

• Usage & Analytics Events: We collect anonymised in-app events via Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used. See the Firebase Analytics section below for details.

• Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including device type, operating system version, and advertising identifiers, through third-party advertising and analytics services.

• Now Playing Metadata (Pro, Android only): If you grant Notification Access, the App reads the title and artist of the track currently playing on your device via Android's media session system. This data is displayed on-screen and is never transmitted off your device or stored.

Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect and use data for personalised advertising. This includes:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)

• IP address

• Device and browser information

• Ad interaction data

Pro subscribers receive an ad-free experience and are not subject to AdMob data collection.

Firebase Analytics (Google)

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised usage events that help us improve the App. Events collected include:

• Workout started, completed, or ended early (rounds, duration, combo settings)

• Individual round completions

• Custom combo saved or deleted

• Workout summary shared and the target platform (e.g. Instagram)

• Paywall viewed, dismissed, or a plan selected

• Pro subscription or free trial started

• Music overlay interactions (play/pause, skip)

• Stats screen and training program views

• Pro-gated feature taps

All events are linked to the anonymous Firebase user ID described above, not to any personally identifiable information.

Firebase Authentication (Google)

We use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account for each user on first launch. This anonymous account:

• Does not require a name, email address, or any personal information

• Generates a random unique ID used to link your RevenueCat subscription and cloud-synced data

• Is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data

Cloud Firestore (Google) — Pro Users Only

Pro subscribers have their workout sessions, custom combos, and settings automatically mirrored to Cloud Firestore. This enables data persistence across device reinstalls. Synced data is stored under your anonymous Firebase user ID and includes:

• Workout session records (rounds, duration, combos completed, timestamps)

• Custom combo configurations

• App settings (e.g. timer preferences)

This data is not accessible to other users and is not used for advertising purposes. For more information, see Firebase's Privacy Information.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases for the Pro tier. RevenueCat may collect:

• Your anonymous Firebase user ID (used as the RevenueCat app user ID)

• Purchase transaction data (purchase date, product ID, subscription status)

• Device platform (iOS or Android)

RevenueCat does not collect your name, email address, or payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play.

Notification Access — Now Playing (Pro, Android only)

Pro subscribers can optionally grant Notification Access so the App can display the currently playing track and provide media controls (play/pause, skip) during a workout. This requires the "Notification Access" permission in Android settings.

• The App uses this permission solely to read the active media session (track title and artist). It does not read the content of other notifications.

• Now Playing metadata is used only to display information on-screen and is never stored locally or transmitted to any server.

• Granting this permission is entirely optional. If not granted, the App functions normally without music controls.

• You can revoke this permission at any time via Settings > Apps & notifications > Special app access > Notification access.

Social Sharing

After each workout you may share a summary card to Instagram Stories or other social and messaging apps installed on your device. Sharing is always initiated manually by you. We do not post to social media on your behalf, and we do not receive data from social platforms in connection with shares.

Data Storage

Workout data, custom combos, timer settings, and your anonymous Firebase UID are stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage.

Pro subscribers additionally have workout sessions, combos, and settings mirrored to Cloud Firestore (see above). Free-tier users' data remains exclusively on-device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Information may be shared with:

• Advertising Partners: Google AdMob may collect data for advertising purposes (free-tier users only).

• Analytics & Infrastructure: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and RevenueCat receive the data described in the sections above.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Your Choices

• Notification Access (Pro): You can grant or revoke Notification Access at any time via Settings > Apps & notifications > Special app access > Notification access. Revoking this permission disables the Now Playing music controls but does not otherwise affect the App.

• Personalised Ads: You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Advertising on iOS, or Settings > Google > Ads on Android).

• Analytics: You can limit ad tracking and analytics data collection through your device's privacy settings.

• Cloud Data (Pro): Pro users can request deletion of their cloud data by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your Firestore data within 30 days.

• Data Deletion: You can delete all local App data by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device settings. This also removes the locally cached anonymous Firebase UID.

• Subscription Management: You can manage or cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Local data is stored using platform-standard encrypted storage. Cloud data in Firestore is protected by Firebase security rules and accessible only via your anonymous account. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
