The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921. Learn more about these four pillars bellow.

Service
NHS students and their peers volunteer in their communities at the highest rates and make connecting with and serving within the community a priority.
Last year alone our students volunteered for over 3500 hours in service giving back to their communities, not including donations of goods and food to those in need.

Scholarship
NHS students rank among the top students scholastically. NHS members are encouraged to keep a 3.5 or better quarterly GPA. They pride themselves in being college and career ready. Members are encouraged to use the NHS website and join in exclusive webinars designed to help them reach their future aspirations . The NHS also offers scholarships to its members through the National organization.
CORE VALUE
Character and Leadership
NHS students are expected to exemplify the highest of character in all aspects of their lives. NHS members are expected to set the example for those around them.
NHS members serve as leaders amongst their peers from the classroom setting, to clubs and organizations, to the sports fields and arena. Many of our members hold multiple leadership positions within our school.

You will need to print this document and fill it out and bring the "completely" filled out form to Mr. LeMaster in room #23. If you need you can come to my classroom and pick up a form I have already printed out for you convenience. They will be located in the file wrack right outside my door.
