Taking Bookings for PAT Testing in 2025
Meet our founder, John Howden who lives in Bourne town in Lincolnshire with his wife and three children. Bourne PAT Testing was established in 2023 by John after he completed his training course in professional PAT Testing.
Training John has undertaken includes a Certificate for PAT Testing. Further training also completed includes one-to-one training with Kewtech (a leading trainer and supplier of PAT testing equipment).
John uses the 'Smart PAT Plus' to give clients the latest and best possible service. The 'Smart PAT Plus' uses software which aids John in producing detailed, itemised reports, that are then professionally printed for each item tested.

Individual PAT testing ensures each piece of equipment is thoroughly checked for safety, giving you peace of mind that everything is functioning properly.
The length of time required for PAT testing depends on several factors, including the number of appliances to be tested, the type of equipment, and the complexity of the workplace. Here's a breakdown to give you a rough idea:
Simple locations with a small number of appliances might take 1-2 hours.
Larger businesses may require half a day to a full day, depending on the number of items and their complexity.
For businesses with several hundred items or more complex environments, such as factories, testing could span multiple days.
Prices start from an initial £20.00 + £2 per test. Supply plugs and rewire are available as an add-on if required.
We also have experience in working for factories and large commercial businesses. Bourne PAT Testing has a workshop option for smaller businesses or domestic items. We will travel to you as long as you are within a reasonable distance from Bourne Lincolnshire.
