Bourbon County Farm Bureau awards more than $4,000 annually in scholarship funds.
2026 Local College Scholarship Application
Deadline: Friday, May 1st, 2026
Eligibility: All applicants must be the child of a Bourbon County Farm Bureau family (or be a member themselves). The recipient’s major or future career plans must impact the agricultural industry in some capacity.
Four college scholarships are available:
One Harold Soper Memorial Scholarship will receive a recurring $1,000 per year for up to four years
Three BCFB $1,000 scholarships

2026 Local Vocational Grant Application
Deadline: Friday, May 1st, 2026
Eligibility: All applicants must be the child of a Bourbon County Farm Bureau family (or be a member themselves). The recipient’s major or future career plans must impact the agricultural industry in some capacity.
One $500 vocational grant will be awarded.
If there are no applicants, funds will become a fourth college scholarship for the same amount.

KFB State Scholarship Application
Deadline: February 28 each year
Eligibility: All applicants must be the child of a Farm Bureau family (or be a member themselves). The recipient’s major or future career plans must impact the agricultural industry in some capacity. Priority will be given to high school seniors going to college or an accredited trade school in the following fall as full-time students. Kentucky Farm Bureau gives 25 $1,000 scholarships.
