The Sunset Burns Above the River

The sunset burns above the river,
A fiery column rising high.
The fleeting light is lost forever,
Like restless life that rushes by.

I see how evening, slowly falling,
Dissolves the dreams, the lines, the shore.
Infinity unfolds, enthralling —
New worlds prepare to open door.

As if the stars need space no longer,
And darkness hides what we can't know…
Black holes arise — and ever stronger —
Begin to strip all light and glow.

They drink the space, where silence shivers,
Where nothing flees without a sound.
The light’s own energy — its kingdom —
Is where pure evil can be drowned.

And soon — it all begins once more,
Like sunsets with no end in sight.
The sun descends… but not for long:
A final ray will pierce the night.

That parting flame — so sad, so tender,
Alive with hope, though dim and slow —
A symbol of our solemn journey,
The meaning of our life below.

We Whisper of Peace Like Children
 

We whisper of peace like children,
While thunder clouds darken the skies.
And truth—where are you now hidden?
A teardrop is all that survives.

Yet under the light of a planet,
Came words that were humble and true:
“Remember, believe, and take care—
For life and our hearts rest on you.”

And even if over the water
The very last bonfire dies,
We’ll rise once again, side by side,
Still hoping with faith in our eyes.

We wait for the morning of mercy,
For spring and for summer to shine.
A sunbeam will glide like soft silver—
And we’ll greet the world: “It’s our time!”
