I'm an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Political Economy at King's College London. I am also affiliated with the AI Objectives Institute and the King's Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
My research is on the intersection of behavioral economics, political economy, and the economics of AI. I use large data sets from e.g. LinkedIn profiles, charitable donations, medication purchases, and tax records to study topics such as automation, polarization, gender favoritism, and consumer decision making. At the moment, I work a lot on estimating the labour market effects of generative AI.
