About Me

Hi there!

This is Botao Hu, a master of science candidate at California Institute of Technology (Caltech), majoring in Electrical Engineering.

I received my B.S. degree in Optical Engineering from Chu Kochen Honors College of Zhejiang University.

Currently I am working at MathWorks Inc. as a software developer intern, in MATLAB Editor team.

My undergrad research interest mainly lies in optical and quantum communications.

• As a visiting research student in UCLA in summer 2016, I worked with Prof. Chee Wei Wong on quantum communication.
• I finished my undergraduate thesis with Prof. Shiming Gao in Zhejiang University on simulating random air turbulence in free-space optical communications.
