Welcome to Botan! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Botan mobile application ("App") provided by SimpleSmart Soft ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Botan is a plant identification and care management application that allows you to:

• Identify plants by taking photos

• Build and manage your plant collection

• Set care reminders for your plants

• Access plant care information

2. Account Registration

• You must sign in with a Google account to use the App

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App

• You agree to provide accurate information

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose

• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content

• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

• Use automated systems to access the App without permission

4. Plant Identification Disclaimer

Important: Plant identification results are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of identification results. Never consume or use plants based solely on the App's identification without professional verification.

• Identification accuracy depends on image quality and plant characteristics

• Always verify identification with a professional before consuming any plant

• We are not responsible for any harm caused by reliance on identification results

5. Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are owned by SimpleSmart Soft

• You retain ownership of photos you upload

• You grant us a license to use your photos for providing the service

• Plant information may be provided by third-party sources

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services:

• Google Sign-In — subject to Google Terms of Service

• Firebase — subject to Firebase Terms

• Pl@ntNet API — for plant identification

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any)

8. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the App settings

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
