Wumpus world

The Wumpus world is a simple world example to illustrate the worth of a knowledge-based agent and to represent knowledge representation. It was inspired by the video game Hunt the Wumpus by Gregory Yob in 1973.

Wumpus world is a game that has 4 by 4 grids. So, there is a total of sixteen rooms which are connected with each other. The goal of the game is to have a programed robot that will go forward, find gold, and return safely home. The world has a grid with a beast which is called Wumpus, who eats anyone who enters the room. The Wumpus can be shot by the robot, but the robot only has a single arrow. In the Wumpus world, there are also some Pits that the robot cannot pass. So, the robot's goal is to find the gold and get out of the world without falling into Pits or being eaten by Wumpus. The robot will get a reward if it comes out with gold, and it will get a penalty if eaten by Wumpus or falls in the pit.
