Amanda Atkins, President

Amanda is a 2010 FSU College of Business grad from Miami, Florida but has called Boston home for the last 7 years. When she's not daydreaming about being back at Doak, she works in human resources in the financial district. Her favorite memories from Tallahassee include football and baseball games, happy hour, and intramural sports. Although she'll always be a Miami Heat fan, the Sox have a special place in her heart.... just don't expect her to pick up a wicked Boston accent ... EVAH!

Victoria Weston, Vice President

Victoria grew up in Syracuse, NY and graduated from FSU in 2003 with a degree in Political Science. After spending many warm years in Florida, she returned to the Northeast a little over two years ago and lives in Boston. She is a Community Fundraising Coordinator for a national nonprofit that builds homes for our Veterans, and she is thrilled to be a part of the Boston Seminole Club. Victoria bleeds garnet and gold and she considers her hometown Tallahassee just as much as Syracuse. Even her colleagues understand her enthusiasm and passion because they have nicknamed her FSU. Whether at work or out and about, she is never afraid to belt out the fight song, so don’t be surprised if she asks you to join her. She is really excited to connect fellow ‘Noles with one another, and encourage members to use our club as a resource, all while making new friends herself. She is a huge sports fan, so if she can’t be in Tally cheering on our beloved ‘Noles, than Boston is the perfect fit for her.

BJ Zayas, Treasurer

A New England transplant, BJ grew up in Florida and completed his Associates Degree from FSU before moving home to Orlando. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida graduating with a Bachelors in Business Management in 2009. He transferred back to New England five years ago and now lives in Wakefield with his wife and two sons. This will be his second year year as Treasurer volunteering in the Boston Seminole Club, after serving as a co-chair for Events last year supporting game-watches, the BC tailgate, and other club events.

Melissa Oliver, Secretary

Originally from Peru, Melissa was raised in Florida and graduated from FSU in 2016 from the school of Communications and Social Work. After pursuing her Masters in Social work at Boston College she decided to stick around Beantown a little while longer! Melissa currently works for a Non-profit Organization and as a Medical Social Worker in the Greater Boston Area. When not working, she loves to adventure all around New England and make new friends! While Florida will always be home, nothing beats a summer in Boston!

Jeff Bys, Director-at-Large

Jeff is a 2007 graduate of FSU double majoring in Finance and Real Estate. He’s born and raised in Springfield, MA but was destined to attend FSU since his father played on the FSU Golf Team in the late 1970s with the likes of Jeff Sluman and Paul Azinger. After graduating, Jeff moved to South Boston and now resides in Waltham where he is a Partner at New York Life. He first started attending game watches in 2010 after discovering the club and is excited to join the board in an effort to further support the Boston FSU community.

Kelsey Bilodeau, Communications Chair

Originally from Connecticut, Kelsey lived in New England for ten years before moving to Florida. She graduated from FSU in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Production. After graduating, she lived in Colorado for a year before moving to greatest city ever, aka Boston, in the summer of 2017. She loves Boston and FSU, and is very excited to connect Seminoles in the New England area through her role. When she’s not “bar chopping” (ask her about it) for the Noles, you can find her running along the Charles or exploring new areas of Boston with her friends.

Ricky Meinke, Events Chair

Hailing from the South, 2014 graduate of FSU and obtained his Master’s from LSU in 2016. In the summer of 2016 Ricky moved to Boston to serve as the Assistant Director of Diversity at Wentworth Institute of Technology. As the Communications Chair Ricky hopes to connect more transplants & Seminole fans to make sure we can always relive our glory days of undergrad. Ricky also is looking for business partners to start a string of Guthrie's franchises in Boston and eventually cater all FSU Boston events with Gut Boxes.

Elisha Bender, Immediate Past President

Elisha received her master's degree in higher education administration in April 2012, and moved to Boston right after graduation. After working at Bentley University for almost four years, she joined HubSpot in January 2016. She spent three years involved in club leadership, and remains a partner to the team as the immediate past president. When not cheering for the Noles, you can find her chasing the sunrise on the Charles River with her crew team or trying a new recipe at home.
