9:00am - Dan Furey Dance Gathering

This month's gathering will be hosted on Zoom by Kieran Jordan. We'll set up a webcam and projector in Lidia's living room, to make sure we can see our friends from around the world. Brunch will be served following the dance gathering. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions on the RSVP form.

2:00-4:00pm - Set Review & Dance Jam
at The Dance Complex, Cambridge
Studio 7, which has air conditioning!

We'll spend time dancing through our set repertoire socially, and reviewing sets as necessary. Sets will include Saint Patrick's Day, Jockey to the Fair, Three Sea Captains, and many more. If there's a specific set you'd like to review together, please let us know on the RSVP form.

We'll also be sure to spend some time on reels, jigs, and hornpipes to get ready for Sunday's step about!

8:00pm - Puppet Slam
at The Puppet Showplace Theater, Brookline

Our friend and classmate Lauren can't make it to the Boston Irish Dance Weekend because she's performing in a puppet slam. No worries, we'll bring the dance weekend to her.

10:00am-noon - Breakfast & Step About with Live Music

Nothing beats dancing by the seaside on a Sunday morning. Musicians Rebecca Mac and Matthias Kaufman will play dance tunes on fiddle and accordion, and a couple Yiddish tunes, too! Step dancers, sean nos dancers, beginners, and experienced dancers are all welcome. 

Breakfast will be provided, and we'll have plenty of time to nosh between dances.

2:00-4:00pm - Hard Shoe Slip Jigs, with Rebecca McGowan
at the Dance Complex, Cambridge
Studio 7, which has air conditioning! 

Rebecca will teach the second half of the Donncha Ó Muimhneacháin slip jigs. It will be fun and challenging!

6:30pm - Dinner & Dance Party
at Lidia's House, near Forest Hills in Jamaica Plain

Close out the weekend with dinner and informal dancing at Lidia's house. Feel free to bring your instrument or other talents to share!
