We are a small group of Boston-area educators from diverse school contexts & perspectives.
We meet once a month on Saturdays from 9am to noon.
Participants join in the fall and attend every month so that the group can develop relationships through the year.
The dates for the 2018-2019 school year will be: 9/8, 10/13, 11/3, 12/1, 1/5, 2/2, 3/2, 4/6, 5/4, 6/8. Click here to see the dates in a calendar format.
We engage in dialogue and storytelling about:
The workshops are free and breakfast and lunch are provided.
By participating you will gain professional learning and support as well as a close network of reflective & committed colleagues from different schools.
In addition, BPS teachers and staff can earn PD points for attending Boston Educators for Equity.
The facilitators are Ulana Ainsworth and Zoe Masters, both full-time teachers in Boston.
Our funding comes from the Knowles Teacher Initiative and Teachers 4 Equity.
Ulana and Zoe use resources and principles from Courageous Conversations by PEG (Pacific Education Group) and SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) to facilitate engaging, productive dialogue in every session.
