Boston Area Chantey and Maritime Sing (BACAMS)

Heave away, haul away! Join us on third Sundays for a rousing and family-friendly song circle of working sea chanteys and maritime chorus songs.  Session leaders April Grant and Lynn Noel share a wealth of maritime and musical experience and a passion for songs of the sea.  Originally founded in 2006, the Boston Area Chantey and Maritime Sing (BACAMS) has traveled from MIT to Charlestown and is now exploring new venues for 2026 and beyond. As we say, "if you don't sail or you don't sing, you're missing half the fun!" Come sing songs of sail with us and enjoy the rich heritage of Boston and environs as a world-renowned port of call.
