Who's ready for your children to have the best summer ever? Then you're in the right place! Here's a quick run down of operations and a what a day at camp looks like!
First off, we follow the Bossier Schools Calendar. Our first day of camp is the day after Bossier Schools get out, and our last day or camp is the day before Bossier Schools start back in August. The first bus leaves headed to camp at 7:10. It leaves empty and picks up at the Plex on north Airline Dr., Brookshires on HWY 1, and the Dairy Queen on north HWY 1. The next bus leaves the daycare about 7:30, full of children. Then there's a bus that leaves at 8am, and the last bus leaves headed to camp at 8:30. If you live near summer camp in Caddo, you are able to drop off and pick up at summer camp, the earliest for morning drop off is 7:30, and they have to be picked up by 4:30. The afternoon is where it gets a little different.

One bus leaves camp and goes to Kerr Elementary on Airline from 5-5:30pm. And the last bus goes to Waller Elementary on Patricia Dr. from 5-5:30pm. At 5:30, all buses head back to the daycare center, and any remaining kids are picked up from there by 6pm.

On Mondays, the kids being swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, bug spray, extra change of clothes, floaties, etc. in a backpack, and that stuff remains at camp all week. Wet swimsuits and towels are hung on clotheslines to dry, and go home to be washed on Fridays. At swim time the kids are grouped with their grade and gender. For example, 1st grade boys, 1st grade girls, etc. We recommend for the younger kids to bring an extra change of clothes to keep at camp just in case, because at summer camp getting dirty is always a high possibility! We’re often asked “how in the world can you all monitor every child?” Well let me tell you! The children are free roaming all day, with only lunch and swim time with designated times. At each area or activity, we have staff posted and actively monitoring their area. There’s always staff members with eyes on each lake. Our life guards are also fully certified through the Red Cross.

Friday's are Cook Out Day, and the kids can bring hot dogs, burgers, etc. We all eat in the Fishing Area and Mr. George and Mrs. Shawn cook out food.

For summer camp, applications can be emailed, mailed, or faxed out, or you can swing by our center on Airline and pick them up in person. To attend summer camp, children must be finishing kindergarten this school year, and we take them through the age of 12. Once you receive your child's camp application, we do recommend that you get it completed and back to us with the $20 application fee to secure your child's spot. Please mail, fax, or drop off applications and fees to us. Please do not email them back to us since the applications have social security numbers on them.
