As a Visiting Lecturer at SLIATE, I had the opportunity to contribute to the education and development of students pursuing IT courses. In this role, I delivered lectures, conducted workshops, and facilitated discussions to foster a comprehensive understanding of IT concepts and practical applications.

CTS Officer

As a Commodity Tracking System Officer at World Vision Lanka, I played a vital role in managing and overseeing the tracking and distribution of commodities within the organization. I was responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate monitoring of commodity movements, from procurement to distribution, in line with established protocols and guidelines.

In this role, I utilized my expertise in tracking systems and logistics to maintain comprehensive records and databases of commodity transactions. I coordinated closely with internal teams, such as procurement, warehouse, and program management, to gather necessary information and ensure the smooth flow of commodities.

My responsibilities included conducting regular audits and reconciliations to identify any discrepancies or potential issues in the commodity tracking process. I actively collaborated with stakeholders to address and resolve any challenges, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and donor requirements.

Additionally, I played a key role in providing technical support and training to staff members involved in the commodity tracking system. I conducted training sessions, developed training materials, and offered ongoing guidance to enhance their understanding and proficiency in using the system effectively.

Working at World Vision Lanka as a Commodity Tracking System Officer allowed me to contribute to the organization's mission of supporting vulnerable communities. By ensuring accurate and transparent tracking of commodities, I helped to optimize resource utilization and promote accountability.
