I'm Boru REN (任博儒). I am an Assistant Professor in Finance at the School of Management, Swansea University, Wales, UK, and a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA). I am an Associate Editor (and Social Media Editor) for Energy Finance (Springer Nature).

My research interests include energy & sustainable finance, empirical corporate finance & governance, financial contagion, applications of textual analysis and machine learning in finance, and financial forecasting.

I welcome PhD applicants with interests and quantitative skills in my research areas.
