🌟 Message from Director & Mentor – Mr. Siddharthsinh Rajput 🌟
When I started my journey with the Special Olympics movement, I was blessed to meet many children, families, and volunteers who brought energy and hope into this mission. Among them, one name shines very brightly – Mr. Haresh Chaudhary.
I still remember, he was only 19 years old when he first joined me as a volunteer. At such a young age, when most youngsters are busy shaping their own lives, Haresh chose to dedicate his time to the service of children with special needs. From day one, I noticed a unique charm in his personality – a natural ability to connect with children, make them comfortable, and bring out their best through sports. His smile, patience, and enthusiasm instantly made him a favorite companion of our young athletes.
Now, two years later, as he turns 21 years old, I proudly see him not just as a volunteer, but as a leader, mentor, and strong pillar of Born Athletes Sports Academy for Special Needs Children.
What makes Haresh’s journey even more remarkable is his decision to move beyond volunteering and coaching to build a professional foundation in the rehabilitation field. Within just a year, he enrolled in the Diploma in Special Education (IDD) at the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Ahmedabad – one of the most respected central government institutes in India under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). With this, Haresh is now a Future Certified Special Educator, combining his passion for sports with formal training in special education and rehabilitation.
Along with his studies, Haresh shows an extraordinary ability to manage his time and responsibilities. He attends college daily to gain knowledge and practical experience, and after that, he manages all academy work – training, planning, and coaching. He also stays actively connected with sports federations, professional players, and coaches, ensuring continuous growth and collaboration for our children. Despite his busy schedule, he always remains a dedicated volunteer for Special Olympics, proving that age is no barrier when there is true passion and commitment. Such maturity at just 21 years of age is truly inspiring.
Today, Haresh carries multiple important responsibilities in our academy:
Project Manager – He has shown remarkable ability in planning, coordinating, and successfully executing projects and programs for our children. From organizing inclusive sports events to managing therapy sessions and community activities, Haresh ensures every initiative runs smoothly and meaningfully.
Head of Recruitment – With his wide network of sports players, professional coaches, and educators, Haresh has been instrumental in bringing talented, dedicated, and compassionate people into our academy. He knows how to recognize true potential and select individuals who can add value to our mission.
Head Coach – Beyond management, Haresh works directly with children as their coach, guide, and motivator. His sessions go beyond sports training – he teaches discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Whether it is basketball, athletics, skating, badminton, or simple motor activities, Haresh blends professional coaching with love and patience, making every child feel included and celebrated.
Haresh is not only knowledgeable in sports but also understands the educational, therapeutic, and emotional needs of children and their families. With his dual expertise in sports coaching and future certification in special education, he has become a true role model in inclusive development.
As his mentor, I have seen him grow from a teenager into a responsible young leader. His dedication, discipline, and selfless service inspire not only the children but also his fellow coaches and volunteers. His journey from 19 to 21 shows that true leadership is not about age, but about vision, compassion, and action.
I can say with pride that Mr. Haresh Chaudhary is the future of inclusive sports and special education in India. He is a role model for today’s youth, showing that when passion meets purpose, extraordinary change is possible. He is not just a coach, but also a friend, guide, and big brother to every special child he works with.
👉 I also want to say that parents of special children, professionals in our field, and people from the sports community should feel free to contact Haresh directly. He is approachable, supportive, and always willing to collaborate or guide.
Lastly, I would like to acknowledge and thank Gujarat Arts & Science College and especially the Sports Director, Dr. Dilipkumar Chaudhary Sir, who identified Haresh’s talent in his early college days, guided him continuously, and gave us such an extraordinary volunteer. Without this support and encouragement, our journey with Haresh would not have been so impactful.
✨ It is my honor as his mentor and director to introduce Mr. Haresh Chaudhary – a young, dedicated, Future Certified Special Educator, and visionary who represents the spirit and values of Born Athletes Sports Academy for Special Needs Children.
