Meet CEO Sandra Mohr
Sandra Mohr is an accomplished director, editor, and producer with decades of experience in the entertainment industry. She has created promotional content for major networks and syndicated shows, including Nickelodeon, HBO, CNN, and many others.
She is the owner of the film production company Mohr Productions and the CEO of Born To Be Viral, which offers premier marketing and branding services to businesses and on-the-rise stars.
Sandra's passion for innovation led to her most recent production, The Darkside, which introduces the first AI-generated horror host. Her versatility is evident in her work, ranging from filming live-action segments for SpongeBob SquarePants to directing the spooky comedy series Macabre Theatre. Both productions remain in syndication and continue to air weekly on national television.
Sandra began her career as a production assistant and animatic editor at Nickelodeon Studios in Burbank, California. During this time, she developed her storytelling skills while contributing to episodes of beloved Nicktoons classics.
In addition to her television work, Sandra has directed nationally broadcast campaigns for leading brands such as GAP, MTV, Hyundai, HBO, CNN, and HarperCollins, showcasing her expertise across a variety of media platforms.
Sandra Mohr is the co-author of “Addict Nation-An Intervention for America” by Jane Velez-Mitchell. Mohr also assisted Velez-Mitchell with her books “Secrets Can Be Murder” and the New York Times Best Seller “iWant.”
Writing under the pen name Sia Layta, she authored Black Widow Poker, a book that delves into strategies for women in poker. The book also chronicles Sandra’s bold social experiment, where she disguised herself as a man to compete in the male-dominated poker world, offering an insightful look into gender dynamics within the game.
"Black Widow Poker" was featured in poker’s most popular websites and news magazines, and served as the inspiration for the movie Poker Queens, which she directed and edited. The film steams on Amazon Prime.
