These miniatures are specifically designed for 3D printing in a 28mm gaming size (to eye level).
They are based on figures from my original traditional toy soldiers set “Confederate Soldiers, Set One” BK-3D-TS72-ACW-C1.
The miniatures are made based on a single pose and vary by their uniforms and equipment. Each miniature is available in two versions: with a rifle without a bayonet, and with a rifle with a fixed bayonet. The set includes 6 miniatures without a bayonet and 6 identical miniatures with a fixed bayonet.

To create the miniatures for this set, some 6,75 heads tall figures from my traditional toy soldier set “Confederate Soldiers, Set One” were transformed to the typical 28mm gaming size proportions with 6 heads in height (6 heads tall). Their weapons and equipment were given more volume. The resulting 28mm miniatures, like all similar miniatures, look like they were born on a planet with high gravity. They have become game pieces. They are not suitable for classic historical dioramas and vignettes.
The 3D files are made specifically for printing on LCD and DLP resin printers (Anycubic, Elegoo, Phrozen, and others) with a resolution of 43x43 micrometers (43x43 µm or 0.043x0.043 mm) and higher (35x35, 28x28, 22x22, 19x24, 18x18 micrometers, etc) with a thickness per layer of 30 micrometers (30 µm or 0.030 mm) or less.
The sizes of the figures in the files correspond to the 28 mm gaming size (from the foot at the heel to the eye level of a standing figure). The files have been checked in the program Netfabb and do not require any repairs in the slicer before supporting, even if the slicer suggests doing so.
Unlike the original “Confederate Soldiers, Set One”, these miniatures are made without supports. You will receive 12 files without supports. The manual for the set includes screenshots to show the printing orientation I recommend, as it is used in my original set, for which the geometry of these figures has been partially optimized to reduce the number of supports and make the contact points between the support and the figure less noticeable. Of course, you can print these in any other orientation.
For 4 of the 12 files, I made my own supports to photograph the figures after printing. These 4 files are also included in this set.

If you are not specifically looking for miniatures with similar proportions for printing in the 28mm gaming size, then you can check out my original set “Confederate Soldiers Set One”, which is the basis for these gaming miniatures and much more correct from a sculptural point of view and from a scale point of view.
