Album: August visit to Orcas and Crane:
We stayed for three nights with Lynn and Chris and then two nights with Sylvia and Gordon. John saw Kevan Monday and they talked about WordPress. Margaret picked Lynn, Chris, and us up at the Deer Harbor Marina, took the long way to the Crane dock and then served us lunch. She introduced us to Kristin and Neal, now the owners of our Crane house, and they gave us a tour. Previous owners changes: new decks and roof, and trees planted to hide the house (why?), inside unchanged. Dinner with Kate and Ken Monday. Tuesday walk down Deer Harbor road - saw Steve and Pam. Potluck at Karen and Clay's - with Chris and Lynn, Don and Deb - owners of our Cayou Valley Road house, and Nancy and Steve. Wednesday tea with Bob and Sue. Dinner with Sylvia and Gordon. Thursday walk around Mountain Lake. Dinner with Julia and Jay. Friday walk with Kate and Ken then to the ferry. Great visit.
