1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Bootify: AI Booty Coach ("we", "our", "the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide a personalized fitness experience:

- First name: Stored in Firebase Firestore to personalize your in-app greeting.

- Age: Stored in Firebase Firestore to tailor workout intensity.

- Weight (optional): Stored in Firebase Firestore for calorie estimate calculations.

- Fitness goal and level: Stored in Firebase Firestore to recommend appropriate programs.

- Workout logs (date, duration, calories): Stored in Firebase Firestore for progress tracking and streaks.

- Anonymous device ID: Stored in AsyncStorage (on-device) and Firebase Auth to identify your data across sessions without requiring sign-in.

- Language preference and app theme: Stored only in AsyncStorage on your device to remember your UI settings.

- Purchase and subscription status: Managed by RevenueCat (third-party) to unlock premium features.

We do not collect: email addresses, phone numbers, location data, photos, camera or microphone access, or any biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Information

- Display your name and stats inside the app

- Calculate estimated calorie burn based on workout activity

- Track weekly workout streaks and progress history

- Recommend suitable programs based on your stated goal and fitness level

- Process and validate in-app subscription purchases

- Maintain your language and theme preferences between sessions

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google LLC)

We use Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in) and Firebase Firestore to store your profile and workout history. Your data is stored on Google's servers under Google's privacy policy. RevenueCat, Inc.

Subscription purchases are processed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your device's anonymous purchase receipt from Apple to verify subscription status. No personal data (name, age, weight) is shared with RevenueCat. Learn more: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Apple App Store

In-app purchases are executed through Apple's payment infrastructure. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction. Learn more: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

Bootify does not track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes. We have set NSPrivacyTracking = false in our privacy manifest. If iOS asks for tracking permission, you may safely deny it without any impact on app functionality.

6. Data Storage and Security

Cloud data (Firebase Firestore) is secured using Google's enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Access is restricted to authenticated sessions only. On-device data (AsyncStorage) is stored in your device's sandboxed storage, protected by iOS's built-in security.

We do not store payment card numbers or banking information. All financial transactions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store infrastructure.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you have the app installed and active. If you delete the app, on-device data (AsyncStorage) is immediately erased. Cloud data (Firestore) is retained for up to 12 months of inactivity, after which it may be automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9).

8. Children's Privacy

Bootify is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

- Access the personal data we hold about you

- Correct inaccurate data — update name, age, and weight directly in the Profile screen

- Delete your data — email us at the address below with the subject "Delete My Data"

- Port your data — we will provide a JSON export on request

EU/EEA users have additional rights under GDPR. Turkish users have rights under KVKK (Law No. 6698). We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
