Rachel Hill, Library Media Specialist

Hello Bulldogs, welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

I’m so excited to be your librarian! I am passionate about reading and being responsible digital citizens and I cannot wait to help students learn new information skills and inspire them to become lifelong learners! The library is a place for all bulldogs, and I hope that we will all explore, discover, and grow together this year!

I am from Gainesville, Texas and I recently moved to Garland. I have a BA in Art History from UT Austin, and a Master of Library Science degree from the University of North Texas. I was an elementary teacher for two years and this is my second year as your Boone elementary school librarian!

In my free time, I love to read (obviously), play guitar, paint, and spend time with my husband, Ty, and our two cats, Artemis and Apollo.
