At Books4Love we care about every child.
Since our founding, we have collected 150+ books, helping expand access to reading materials for children and supporting literacy within our communities. Every donated book represents another opportunity to inspire learning, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading.
While 91% of U.S. children own at least one book, most of those without books are from low-income families, and the gap is most severe in “book deserts” — areas where children have little to no access to reading materials. This means millions of children, particularly in underserved communities, lack the foundational literacy resources they need to succeed.
The reality about book accessibility.
Our mission is to make books accessible to every child, regardless of their circumstances. Through youth-led book reviews and monthly book drives, we connect children with books by donating them to shelters, children’s centers, and free book stands. By expanding access to books, we aim not only to promote literacy but also to help address the ongoing literacy crisis in our communities.
