BIOGRAPHY
Tamara Nile AKA T. Nile is an award-winning songwriter, creative producer and multi-instrumentalist who's musical style is as diverse as her roots. Sook-Yin-Lee has described her as "a ray of sunshine on a cold day" and according to Tom Power, she's "staggeringly good". Nile's father was a touring sidewalk entertainer and her mother taught her how to sing when she was just a toddler. From the age of six until her teenage years, Nile accompanied Dan the Man as they toured the West Coast and Australia in a home-made RV.
Respected as a trailblazer in the Folk-Roots community, T. Nile’s fans have kept her on the road since 2006 in Western Europe, USA and Canada. She will release “Coming Back From Everything” EP in February 2023, followed by some support shows with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Taj Mahal and the Indigo Girls. Somewhere in there she’ll take a break to record her new album “Wild Once” with her band The Flames.
