All data you save within Book Highlights (books, notes, highlights) is stored locally on your device.

If you have iCloud enabled, the app uses Apple's iCloud services to synchronize your data across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is secured by Apple’s privacy protocols. As developers, we do not have access to your data stored in iCloud.

4. Camera Usage

The application requests permission to access your device's camera. This access is used exclusively for the text scanning (OCR) feature, allowing you to capture quotes directly from your physical books.

• Image processing is performed locally on your device.

• No images or captured text are sent to external servers.
