This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, BookCave (the "Application" or "Service"), which is distributed through the Google Play Store.

We do not collect any personal data directly from you. You do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal details (such as name, phone number, or physical address) to use BookCave.
However, to provide basic functionality, analytics, and advertising, the Application utilizes trusted third-party SDKs that automatically collect certain non-personal device information:
Device Identifiers: We may access your device's Android Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and standard hardware identifiers (device model, OS version).
Offline Book Storage (Sandbox): When you download a book for offline reading, the PDF file is saved securely within the Application's internal, sandboxed storage directory. These files are not accessible to other applications or visible in the device's public file manager, and are automatically deleted when the Application is uninstalled.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, such as pages viewed, books read, duration of usage, and navigation paths.
Crash Logs & Performance Data: Information about technical errors, memory issues, and performance metrics to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service: Ensuring the PDF reader and download features function correctly on your device.
To Improve and Optimize the Service: Analyzing crash reports and usage statistics to fix technical issues and enhance the user interface.
To Serve Advertisements: Using non-personally identifiable device identifiers to display relevant, non-intrusive advertisements.
Regarding Google Play Data Safety requirements, the Application collects and shares:
Device or Other IDs: Specifically the Advertising ID and IP address, which are collected and shared for app functionality, analytics, and advertising.
App Diagnostics: Specifically crash logs and performance metrics, which are collected and shared for app diagnostic, analytics, and debugging purposes.
App Activity: Specifically app interactions and search history, which are collected and shared for analytics and personalization.
Data Encryption: All data transmitted by the third-party SDKs is encrypted in transit using secure protocols (HTTPS).
Data Deletion: Since we do not collect personal identifiers or store data on our own servers, you can delete all locally saved favorites and downloaded books at any time by clearing the Application's cache/data or by uninstalling the Application.

Our Application is not designed for or targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take necessary actions to remove such information from our records.
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect any data accessed by the Application. However, please be aware that no transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure.
