We are building on the legacy:
Bonny Oak Farm has been in the family since 1852, just after Wisconsin became a state. We are the 6th Generation to raise our kids (the 7th generation) here while we farm this legacy. Join us in our journey to produce clean produce and meats using Regenerative Agricultural Practices while building a long-lasting farm legacy for generations to come.
Regenerative Organic Agriculture at Bonny Oak Farm
What does it look like?
Focus on soil regeneration and working to restore a symbiotic ecosystem for our farmland.
We DO NOT use pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals on our plants or animals.
We DO practice rotational grazing, layering of animals for enhanced soil enrichment, increased biodiversity (both plant and animal).
We are constantly improving our retention of water and reducing erosion.
We are rebalancing and enriching our soil's properties through vermiculture (earthworm castings) to create fertilizer, creating and applying compost, gardening with minimal soil disturbance, attracting pollinators, and other beneficial bugs that reduce pests.
