Amel Eklund-Torreblanca

Bonnie is a Family Nurse Practitioner and mom to her favourite little human, who inspired her to write about life around them. She divides her time between Southern California, USA and Vancouver Island, Canada. When she is not writing, she can be found wandering through nature, hiking, travelling, giving animals hugs, and taking photographs.

Amel is a young author who lives between Vancouver Island, Canada, and California, USA. Amel felt inspired to write a book when he noticed friend's saying they felt sad for him that he was adopted. He saw the need to educate other children and teach them about how wonderful adoption can be. He also wanted to remind other adopted children that it is 'great to be adopted. The original idea began when he was 8 years old. In Amel's spare time he loves biking and hiking, in addition to learning math and science.
